St John's Wort

Herbaceous perennial with bright yellow flowers from midsummer. St Johns wort has well researched medicinal properties, and a long history as a medicinal plant. It grows happily in a meadow or in a bed and gets 30-60cm tall. It self-seeds easily and spreads around. This is not a issue in the UK as it is a native wildflower. (Approximate seed count - 300)
