Meadowsweet is a hardy perennial plant and medicinal herb with highly aromatic flowers in early to mid summer. Known for being a flavour in traditional mead as well as being the origin of salicylic acid, the active ingredient in aspirin, meadowsweet is usually indicated in digestive conditions.
