About

Herbaceous wildflower with creamy white "frothy" flowers known for its medicinal properties. Meadowsweet is a hardy perennial plant and medicinal herb with highly aromatic flowers in early to mid summer. Known for being a flavour in traditional mead as well as being the origin of salicylic acid, the active ingredient in aspirin, meadowsweet is usually indicated in digestive conditions. The plants grow to around 1.2m tall in the sun and with a moist to average soil. (Approximate seed count - 50)
